It is our great pleasure to announce the organization of 16th International Symposium on Atomic Level Characterizations for New Materials and Devices '26 (ALC '26) that will be held at Howard beach resort at Kenting in Taiwan during November 2- 6, 2026.
 
ALC is an international symposium organized by the division of Microbeam Analysis (MBA) in Japan Society of Vacuum and Surface Science (JVSS), and it is a series of the traditional symposium since 1997. The symposium focuses on atomic-level characterization of materials, explorations of new materials, and device developments, primarily at the surfaces and interfaces. This international symposium brings together researchers and engineers from all over the world not only to present their research works but also to serve as a platform for discussions and creations of interdisciplinary collaborations. We welcome all the members for your presentation and for participation.

おかげさまで、2026年11月2日～6日に、台湾KentingのHoward beach resortにおいて、16th International Symposium on Atomic Level Characterizations for New Materials and Devices '26 (ALC '26)を開催する運びとなりました。

ALCは日本表面真空学会マイクロビームアナリシス（MBA）技術部会が主催する国際シンポジウムで、1997年から続く伝統あるものです。表面・界面・ナノ領域を中心に物質や材料の原子レベルでの解析や新素材の開拓、そしてデバイス開発をテーマにしています。本国際シンポジウムでは世界中の研究者と技術者が集まって研究成果を発表するだけでなく、専門的な議論と分野横断的な連携創出の場として活用しています。会員の皆様も是非、ご発表とご参加ください。
