IUVSTA EBARA Award 公募

2025年9月にシドニーで開催される真空・表面に関する最大規模の国際会議
「第23回真空に関する国際会議（The 23rd International Vacuum Congress、以下：IVC-23）」
にて、IUVSTA EBARA Awardを実施します。

本賞は、2019年に新設したもので、環境負荷低減に寄与する真空分野の技術・研究開発を行う若手研究者や技術者を表彰する制度です。3年おきに開催されるIVCにおいて、今回が3回めの実施となります。ご対象となる研究者や技術者の皆様のご応募を、心よりお待ちしております。

Call for IUVSTA EBARA AWARD

For the third time IUVSTA calls for applications for the IUVSTA EBARA Award.

The IUVSTA EBARA Award recognises an excellent young researcher or engineer to support innovation in environmentally friendly solutions in the area of vacuum-related science and technologies.

Modern societies face major challenges: reducing overall energy consumption, cutting greenhouse gas emissions, managing waste, and making smarter use of new information and communication technologies. Vacuum-related science and technology can help address these challenges and support sustainable development, since nearly all high-tech products involve some form of vacuum-assisted process.

The application form and all supporting documents must be submitted electronically (pdf format) by the submission deadline of 31 July 2025.

The result will be announced by 15 August 2025.
The winner will be awarded a cash Prize of €3,000 and will give an invited talk at International Vacuum Congress IVC-23 in September 2025, in Sydney, Australia.
